Vacuum Induction Melting Furnace (VIM-i)
Vacuum Induction Melting Furnace (VIM-i)
ALD Vacuum Technologies India Pvt. Ltd. (ALD India) delivers competitive advantages and business values of vacuum metallurgy and vacuum heat treatment products for customer oriented solutions in automotive, aerospace, defense and several other industries.
The vacuum induction melting (VIM) process is suitable to produce high-purity metals in a vacuum/inert environment that enables effective degassing of the melt, during which dissolved gases are expelled. This process is also suitable for adjusting the alloy composition, as the temperature, vacuum, gas atmosphere and pressure can be modified independently of each other.
ALD-India-engineered VIM furnaces are ‘Made-In-India’ with a wide range of accessories to tailor them to customers’ individual production requirements.
