Job Summary:
ALD Vacuum Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Service Engineer to support installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of advanced vacuum furnace and machine tool systems. The ideal candidate should possess strong electronics and mechanical troubleshooting skills with experience in CNC machine tools.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Perform installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, and breakdown servicing of equipment.
✔ Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
✔ Conduct machine health surveys and recommend corrective actions.
✔ Diagnose and resolve machine issues.
✔ Read and interpret electrical, PLC and mechanical drawings.
✔ Prepare detailed service reports and maintenance documentation.
✔ Coordinate with customers and internal engineering teams to ensure timely service support.
✔ Provide technical guidance and training to customer maintenance personnel.
✔ Ensure adherence to quality and safety standards during field service activities.
✔ Travel to customer locations across India and overseas as required.
Required Skills & Competencies:
✔ Strong knowledge of electronics and mechanical systems.
✔ Experience in machine tool maintenance and troubleshooting.
✔ Working knowledge of CNC controls, PLCs, servo drives, sensors, automation systems and load cells.
✔ Good communication and customer service skills.
✔ Ability to work independently and under pressure.
✔ Knowledge of vacuum pumps is desirable.
