Key Responsibilities:
✔ Perform inspection of pressure vessels, fabricated assemblies, and purchased components.
✔ Ensure compliance with ASME codes, engineering drawings, customer specifications, and statutory requirements.
✔ Carry out dimensional inspections, mechanical testing, hydrostatic testing, pneumatic testing, and final acceptance inspections.
✔ Review and verify inspection reports, material test certificates (MTCs), welding documentation, NDT reports, and quality dossiers.
✔ Manage vendor inspections and approve fabrication activities at supplier locations.
✔ Coordinate with engineering, production, procurement, and project teams to resolve quality-related issues.
✔ Participate in customer inspections, third-party inspections, and regulatory audits.
✔ Monitor non-conformities and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
✔ Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and manufacturing processes.
✔ Ensure compliance with Integrated Management System (IMS) requirements.
Required Skills & Competencies:
✔ Strong knowledge of Pressure Vessel Inspection.
✔ Thorough understanding of ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code.
✔ Hands-on experience in inspection, testing, and verification of fabricated equipment.
✔ Experience in vendor quality assurance and supplier audits.
✔ Ability to interpret engineering drawings, welding procedures, and inspection plans.
✔ Knowledge of NDT methods and quality documentation.
✔ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
✔ Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Quality System Knowledge
Candidates must have practical experience in:
✔ ISO 9001 – Quality Management System
✔ ISO 14001 – Environmental Management System
✔ ISO 45001 – Occupational Health & Safety Management System
Preferred Industry Experience:
Experience in pressure vessel manufacturing, vacuum systems, heavy engineering, process equipment, or capital equipment industries will be preferred.
