Job summary:
Supports the engineering, panel fabrication, wiring, and testing of electrical and automation systems for industrial vacuum furnaces. Learns complex power distribution, temperature control loop logic, and PLC programming. Works closely with senior electrical engineers to ensure systems meet precision manufacturing and safety standards.
Principal Duties:
✔ Wire electrical control panels, power distribution units, and high-frequency induction transformers.
✔ Route and terminate power cables, communication lines, and signal wires inside the furnace framework.
✔ Integrate high-current heating element connections, ensuring proper insulation and safety shielding.

✔ Label all wire networks and terminal blocks accurately according to engineering schematics.
✔ Install and configure PLC modules, HMI displays, SCADA networks, and variable frequency drives (VFDs).
✔ Mount and calibrate temperature sensors (thermocouples), vacuum gauges, and gas valves.
✔ Assist in uploading, testing, and debugging basic PLC ladder logic for furnace cycle automation.
✔ Conduct electrical continuity, insulation resistance (megger), and voltage distribution tests.
✔ Troubleshoot electrical faults, interlocking logic failures, and sensor calibration errors during pre-commissioning.
✔ Document electrical test logs, instrument calibration certificates, and panel inspection checklists.
Qualification & Technical Competencies:
Degree: Diploma or B.E./B. Tech in Electrical, Electronics & Instrumentation or Mechatronics
Experience: Fresher to 1 year of experience in electrical panel Building, Industrial automation & IOT.
Technical Skills
Software: Basic understanding of E plan and foundational knowledge of PLC programming (Siemens, Rockwell, or similar)
Soft Skills
Detail-Oriented: High precision in wiring connections to prevent short circuits or system failure under high thermal loads
